When I was in grade school I took French classes. Our teacher would start every class by asking how we were, and I would always say, “Je suis tres fatigue” (I am very tired). I was so thrilled with myself that while everyone else was the plain old good, here I was, being exotically tired. Every now and then I think back to those days and wonder what in my young fifth grade life was making me so tired. I can honestly say that today, I am very tired. And that is not some fancy thing I am throwing out to impress my peers. I am so blessed to be doing my job, and I love it so much that I sometimes forget to take a minute to just breathe. And I know that I am not alone in this. We all work too hard, too long, too much. So today I am taking a few minutes to just breathe. I hope that you will join me.
