Before we get started, let me just say that I love blue.  It is a great color.

Over the years though, I have noticed that blue is a picky color.  Oh sure, it is the color of the sky, so you think that it will go with everything.  But that is where it gets a little tricky.

Blue has a little bit of a rabbit factor: you bring one piece of blue in, and the next thing you know, your house is filled with blue things.  Because while blue likes other colors, blue REALLY likes itself.

I haven’t noticed this phenomenon with other colors, but for all of you with blue in your homes, do you agree?  Have you noticed the same thing?  I have witnessed it more than a handful of times in the past nine years.  And it is so strange!

I know, I know, it is the practically the middle of the month and I am finally getting back on the job!  I have been busy though!  Busy how, you ask?  Thinking. (more…)

Every day I try to write down 5 things that I am thankful for.  It has a way of keeping me grounded and present.  And let’s face it: I have a lot to be thankful for!  Here is my list for today:

1. I do what I love.

2. You – you give me the opportunity to do what I love.

3. I have over 100 followers on Twitter!

4. In these difficult financial times, I am still busy helping people love their homes.

5. I never feel like I am working.
While all of these are important, you are what makes the whole thing work – so thank you!  Thank you for the follows, the likes, the comments, the support, the opportunity to work with you.  From the bottom of my heart.
