Every good house needs drainage.  There are several kinds: gutters, which funnel the water through pipes; rain chains, which allow the water to cascade down; or the Hail Mary, where you put up nothing and pray for no structural damage.  My control freak tendencies rarely leave anything to chance, so I am thinking about ways to divert water away from my foundation.  I saw the photo below and loved it, but felt that I need a little more security on my gate than that.  BUT, what if I translated that idea into a rain chain?  Kind of my own rock’n rain chain.  Just have to run it by Mr. Rock’n Architect.
